A full-length black sequin evening gown, cut to follow the body before flaring into a floor-length skirt with a subtle train. Elbow-length sleeves gather at the shoulder, creating structure without excess volume and drawing the eye to the waist. The neckline is high and clean. Nothing decorative is there simply for something to do.
The sequins catch the light in flashes rather than sparkling indiscriminately. In a dimly lit room, the effect is quite extraordinary. I think we should all own at least one dress that behaves differently after dark.
